Juniperus drupacea

Juniperus drupacea, the Syrian juniper, is a species native to the eastern Mediterranean region, including southern Greece, southern Turkey, western Syria, Lebanon, and northern Israel. It grows on rocky sites at altitudes between 800 and 1,700 meters. This species is the sole member of Juniperus sect. Caryocedrus, which is sometimes classified as the genus Arceuthos.
Description
Juniperus drupacea는 Cupressaceae(소나무과)에 속하는 Juniperus(주니퍼) 속의 식물로, 동지중해 지역에서 자생한다. 이 종은 남부 그리스, 남부 터키, 서부 시리아, 레바논, 북부 이스라엘에서 발견되며, 암석 지대에서 800~1,700미터 고도에서 자라난다. 이 종은 때때로 Arceuthos로 분류되는 Caryocedrus 계열의 유일한 구성원이다.
