Hyacinthoides non-scripta는 Asparagaceae과에 속하는 다년생 줄기없는 식물로, 아일랜드 반도 북서부에서 불레인 섬에 이르는 대서양 지역에 분포한다. 이 식물은 흔히 영국 푸른꽃, 혹은 단순히 푸른꽃으로 알려져 있으며, 봄에 5~12개의 관형 꽃이 한쪽으로 기울어진 모습으로 피어난다. 이 꽃은 향이 좋고, 강하게 말린 꽃잎이 특징이다.
Description
Hyacinthoides non-scripta는 줄기 없이 줄기를 따라 3~6개의 선형 잎이 밑에서 자라며, 봄에 5~12개의 관형 꽃이 한쪽으로 기울어져 피는 것이 특징이다. 이 식물은 정원 식물로도 자주 사용된다. 분포 지역은 덴마크, 핀란드, 이탈리아, 노르웨이, 플랜더스, 오스트리아, 스웨덴, 스위스, 세르비아, 슬로베니아, 오스트리아, 오스트레일리아, 벨기에, 브뤼셀 수도권 등이다. 학명은 (L.) Chouard ex Rothm.가 1944년에 발표하였다.
