Hyacinthoides lingulata는 북아프리카, 모로코에서 튀니스에 걸쳐 분포하는 줄기 없는 식물이다. 가을 비가 시작될 때 짧은 잔디와 농경지에서 꽃을 피운다. 꽃은 일반적인 파란꽃보다 희미하지만 비슷한 향기를 지닌다. 잎은 완전히 겨울을 나는 것이 어렵고, 영국에서는 보통 유리하우스에서 재배되며 여름에는 건조한 휴식이 필요하다.
Description
Hyacinthoides lingulata (Poir.) Rothm.는 Asparagaceae과에 속하는 식물로 1944년에 발표되었다. 북아프리카의 알제리, 모로코, 튀니스에서 발견된다. 이 식물은 가을에 꽃을 피우며, 꽃은 일반 파란꽃보다 희미하지만 비슷한 향기를 가진다. 잎은 완전한 겨울철 생존이 어렵기 때문에 영국에서는 보통 유리하우스에서 재배된다. 여름에는 물을 주지 않고 건조한 상태를 유지해야 하며, 9월 초부터 다시 식물이 쇠퇴할 때까지 물을 준다.
