Description
Goodyera rubicunda는 Giant jewel orchid로 알려진 Orchidaceae 과의 식물입니다. 이 종은 Assam, Borneo, 중국 남중부, 동 Himalaya, 필리핀, 타이완, 퀸즐랜드 등 여러 지역에서 분포하며, 습한 숲과 우림 환경에서 자랍니다. 이 식물은 3~6개의 큰 타원형 잎을 가지고 있으며, 최대 10개의 무광택 분홍색과 흰색의 꽃이 있습니다. 꽃은 바깥쪽에 털이 있는 resupinate 형태를 띱니다. Goodyera rubicunda는 1839년에 (Blume) Lindl.에 의해 발표되었습니다.
