Description
Gastrochilus calceolaris는 1825년에 D.Don에 의해 발표된 Orchidaceae(구주류)에 속하는 종이다. 이 종은 북동 인도(아삼), 부탄, 중국 중남부, 하이난, 동 히말라야, 자와, 말라야, 미얀마, 네팔, 니코바르 제도, 필리핀, 수마트라, 태국, 티베트, 베트남, 서 히말라야 등지에서 자란다. 이 식물은 Andaman 제도와 같은 섬 지역에서도 발견된다.
