Rumex patientia はキツネノマゴ科の多年草で、南ヨーロッパで春の葉野菜やパイの具材として使われます。英語名は Garden Patience で、別名として Herb Patience や Monk's Rhubarb とも呼ばれます。
Description
Rumex patientia は Polygonaceae 科に属する多年草で、ヨーロッパ南部の国々、例えばブルガリア、北マケドニア、トルコ、ボスニア・ヘルツェゴビナ、セルビアなどで春に食用として利用されます。葉は春の野菜として、またパイやローマニアのスープ、サルマレなどに使われます。この種はカナダ、ベルギー、フランス、オランダ、イギリス、イタリア、デンマーク、ベラルーシなど広範囲に分布しています。学名は Linnaeus が 1753 年に記載しました。
