Nepenthes gracilis Korth.
Nepenthes gracilis は、スンダ地域で広く分布する低地の捕虫瓶植物です。ボルネオ、カンボジア、ペナン半島のマレーシア、シンガポール、スラウェシ、スマトラ、タイで記録されています。標高0～1100メートルに分布しますが、多くの個体は100メートル以下の地域に見られ、1000メートル以上では希少です。この種は広く分布しているにもかかわらず、N. gracilis と他の種との自然交雑は非常にまれです。
Description
Nepenthes gracilis は Nepenthaceae 科に属する植物で、1840年に Korth. によって記載されました。英名はスレンダー・ピッチャープランツ（slender pitcher plant）です。この種は南方アジアの広範囲に分布し、特に低地の湿潤な環境で見られます。生育地の標高範囲は0～1100メートルですが、100メートル以下の低地に最も多く、1000メートル以上の高地では非常に希少です。自然交雑が稀なことから、種の独立性が高いと考えられています。
