Microstachys chamaelea (L.) Müll.Arg., membre des Euphorbiaceae, est une plante distribuée dans plusieurs régions tropicales d'Asie et d'Afrique, notamment les îles Andaman, le Bangladesh, le Bénin, Bornéo, le Burkina Faso, le Cambodge, le Cameroun, la République centrafricaine, le Tchad, le sud-est de la Chine, le Ghana, Hainan, l'Inde, la Côte d'Ivoire, Java, Malaisie, le Mali, le Myanmar, le Nigeria et le Northern Territory. Le nom a été publié en 1863.
Description
Microstachys chamaelea, décrite dans la famille des Euphorbiaceae, est répandue dans plusieurs pays d'Asie et d'Afrique tropicaux. Bien que le nom ait été publié en 1863, une discussion botanique souligne que le matériau type indiqué par Airy Shaw dans LINN n'était pas disponible pour Linné en 1753 et ne constitue donc pas le matériel original pour ce nom.
