Polemonium reptans es una planta perenne herbácea originaria del este de América del Norte. Se le conoce con varios nombres comunes, como spreading Jacob's ladder, creeping Jacob's ladder, false Jacob's ladder, abscess root, American Greek valerian, blue bells, stairway to heaven y sweatroot. Pertenece a la familia Polemoniaceae y fue publicada científicamente en 1759.
Descripción
Esta especie se distribuye en varias regiones del este de Estados Unidos, incluyendo estados como Vermont, California, Alabama, Arkansas, Connecticut, Delaware, el Distrito de Columbia, Georgia, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, Minnesota y Mississippi. El nombre científico fue descrito por L. y pertenece al género Polemonium.
