Ziziphus pubescens is a species in the genus Ziziphus, belonging to the family Rhamnaceae. It was first described by Oliver in 1887. The species is native to several countries in sub-Saharan Africa, including Angola, Cameroon, Ethiopia, Kenya, Malawi, Mozambique, Sudan, Tanzania, Uganda, Zambia, Zaïre, and Zimbabwe.

Description

Ziziphus pubescens is a member of the Rhamnaceae family, commonly known as the buckthorn family. It is distributed across a range of African countries, where it grows in its natural habitat. This species was formally published in 1887 by the botanist Oliver, who provided the initial taxonomic description.
