Yucca potosina is a species in the Asparagaceae family, native to east central Mexico, ranging from Hidalgo to San Luís Potosí. It was first described in 1955 by Rzed. and is occasionally grown as an ornamental plant, though not commonly.

Description

Yucca potosina is a member of the Asparagaceae family and is indigenous to the regions of Hidalgo and San Luís Potosí in east central Mexico. The species was formally published in 1955 by Rzed. While it is sometimes cultivated for ornamental purposes, it remains a relatively uncommon plant in cultivation.
