Cypripedium flavum, known as the Yellow Cypripedium, is an orchid species native to China. It is found in the provinces of Gansu, Hubei, Sichuan, Xizang (Tibet), and Yunnan. The species was first described in 1966 by P.F. Hunt and Summerh.

Description

Cypripedium flavum is a member of the Orchidaceae family and is part of the Cypripedium genus. This species is endemic to China, with a distribution across several regions including North-Central, South-Central, and Tibet. It is commonly referred to as the Yellow Cypripedium in English and shares the same name in the target language.
