Illicium parviflorum, known as yellow anisetree, is a flowering plant species in the Schisandraceae family. Native to Florida, it was historically found in Georgia but is now extirpated there.

Description

Illicium parviflorum (Michx. ex Vent.) is a member of the genus Illicium and is part of the Schisandraceae family. It is commonly referred to as yellow anisetree and is native to the U.S. state of Florida. The species was also historically present in Georgia, but it no longer exists in that state. It was first described in 1799.
