Xylosma grossecrenata is a flowering plant species in the Salicaceae family, native to New Caledonia. It was reclassified from the genus Lasiochlamys to Xylosma in 1980. The species is recognized as endangered on the IUCN Red List and is protected under the National Natural Heritage Inventory.

Description

Xylosma grossecrenata belongs to the Salicaceae family and is found only in New Caledonia. Previously classified under the genus Lasiochlamys, it was formally placed in the genus Xylosma in 1980. Conservation efforts include its listing as endangered by the IUCN and its inclusion in the National Natural Heritage Inventory for protection.
