Leucadendron chamelaea, known as Witsenberg Conebush, is a shrub in the Proteaceae family. It is native to the Western Cape region in South Africa and is part of the fynbos vegetation.

Description

Leucadendron chamelaea (Lam.) I.Williams is a shrub species within the genus Leucadendron of the Proteaceae family. It is indigenous to the Western Cape provinces of South Africa. The plant is a member of the fynbos biome and is known by the common name Witsenberg Conebush. It was first described in 1967.
