Muehlenbeckia hastulata (Sm.) I.M.Johnst. is a species of flowering plant in the Polygonaceae family. It is native to South America, particularly Chile, where it is a common and rapidly growing climber. The plant is also found in parts of the conterminous 48 United States, as well as in Argentina, Peru, and various regions of Chile. It was published in 1928 and is referred to as Wirevine in English.
