Wilkiea huegeliana is a flowering plant species in the Monimiaceae family, native to eastern Australia. It is a tall shrub or small tree with egg-shaped to narrowly elliptic leaves. The species is dioecious, with male flowers having 3 or 4 stamens and female flowers with 20 to 40 carpels. The fruit is a blackish oval drupe with a yellow to orange receptacle.

Description

Wilkiea huegeliana, described in 1868, is a member of the Monimiaceae family. It is found exclusively in eastern Australia and is characterized by its distinct leaf shape and separate male and female flowers. Male flowers are distinguished by 3 or 4 stamens, while female flowers have 20 to 40 carpels. The plant produces a blackish oval drupe with a receptacle that ranges in color from yellow to orange.
