Wilkiea cordata is a flowering plant in the family Monimiaceae, native to north-east Queensland. It is a shrub or small tree with oblong leaves. The species is dioecious, with male flowers having two pairs of stamens and female flowers containing about 25 carpels. The fruit is an oval drupe with a yellow receptacle that has an orange tinge.

Description

Wilkiea cordata, described by Whiffin in 2007, is a member of the genus Wilkiea and is found exclusively in Queensland. This plant exhibits separate male and female flowers. Male flowers are characterized by their paired stamens, while female flowers have approximately 25 carpels. The species produces a drupaceous fruit with a receptacle that is yellow with an orange hue.
