Manilkara jaimiqui, known as wild dilly, is a member of the Sapotaceae family. It is found in tropical North America, particularly in the West Indies and south Florida. It grows in coastal hammocks and pine rocklands.

Description

Manilkara jaimiqui (Dubard) is a woody plant in the Sapotaceae family. It is native to regions including the Bahamas, Cuba, the Dominican Republic, Florida, Haiti, Puerto Rico, and the Turks-Caicos Islands. This species is commonly referred to as wild dilly in English. It was first described in 1915 and is typically found in coastal hammocks and pine rocklands.
