Navarretia leucocephala, known as white-flowered navarretia, is a flowering plant in the Polemoniaceae family. It is native to North America, particularly the western United States and central Canada, and was first described in 1849 by Benth. This species is commonly found in wet or moist habitats, including vernal pools.

Description

Navarretia leucocephala is a member of the Polemoniaceae family, commonly called the phlox family. It is distributed globally but is most commonly found in regions such as Alberta, Arizona, California, Idaho, Massachusetts, Montana, Nevada, Oregon, Saskatchewan, Utah, Washington, and Wyoming. The plant typically inhabits wet or moist terrestrial environments, such as vernal pools. It is a native species of North America and is known by the common name white-flowered navarretia.
