Lilium medeoloides is a member of the Liliaceae family and is native to parts of East Asia, including southeast China, Japan, Korea, and eastern Russia. It thrives in forested and subalpine environments.

Description

Lilium medeoloides, known as wheel lily, is a perennial herb in the Liliaceae family. It is found in southeast China, Japan, Korea, and regions of eastern Russia such as Kamchatka, the Kuril Islands, and Sakhalin. This species typically grows in forested areas, as well as grassy and rocky subalpine habitats. It was first described in 1859 by A. Gray.
