Description

Packera hesperia (Greene) W.A.Weber & Á.Löve is native to California and Oregon, where it is found only in the Siskiyou Mountains. It belongs to the genus Packera and is adapted to grow on serpentine soils. Conservation efforts are concerned with its vulnerability, attributed to its restricted distribution. The species was formally published in 1981.
