Rourea brachyandra, known as water vine, is a species in the family Connaraceae. It is endemic to Queensland, Australia, where it grows in coastal rainforests from Rossville south to approximately Sarina. The species was first described by Ferdinand von Mueller in 1872.

Rourea brachyandra is a member of the Connaraceae family and is native to the coastal rainforests of Queensland, Australia. It is commonly referred to as water vine and has a distribution range extending from Rossville to around Sarina. The species was formally described by Ferdinand von Mueller in 1872.
