Voi cycad

Encephalartos kisambo is a cycad species found in Kenya and Tanzania. It inhabits steep, forested hills and rocky slopes, including cloud forest environments. The species is under threat due to habitat loss and over-collection for the horticultural trade. It was first described in 1989 by Faden and Beentje and belongs to the Zamiaceae family.
