Vitis bellula, known as the beautiful grape or small leaf hair grape, is a liana in the Vitaceae family. It is native to southern and central China, including Guangdong, Guangxi, Hubei, Hunan, and Sichuan. The species grows between 400 and 1,600 meters in elevation and produces medium-sized purplish-black grapes.

Description

Vitis bellula is a climbing plant in the grape family, Vitaceae, found in the southern and central regions of China. It is distributed across the provinces of Guangdong, Guangxi, Hubei, Hunan, and Sichuan. This species thrives at elevations ranging from 400 to 1,600 meters and is characterized by its production of medium-sized, purplish-black grapes. The plant was formally described in 1979 under the scientific name Vitis bellula (Rehder) W.T.Wang.
