Vismia bemerguii is a species in the genus Vismia, belonging to the family Hypericaceae. It was first described by M.E. Berg in 1977. The species is native to parts of Brazil, specifically the northern and west-central regions, as well as Bolivia.

Description

Vismia bemerguii is a member of the Hypericaceae family, a group of flowering plants commonly known as the St. John's wort family. This species was formally published in 1977 by the botanist M.E. Berg. It occurs in the northern and west-central parts of Brazil and extends into Bolivia. The genus Vismia is known for its tropical tree and shrub species, often found in the Neotropics. Vismia bemerguii contributes to the biodiversity of the regions where it is found.
