Abies vejarii, known as Vejar fir, is a fir species native to northeastern Mexico. It is found in the states of Coahuila, Nuevo León, and Tamaulipas, growing at high elevations within the Sierra Madre Oriental. The species was first described in 1942 by Martínez and belongs to the genus Abies in the family Pinaceae.
Description
