Vasconcellea monoica (Desf.) A.DC. is a species in the Caricaceae family, found in Bolivia, Ecuador, and Peru. It was first described in 1864. This plant is part of the Vasconcellea genus and is known for its 18 chromosomes. It is distributed in the Southeast and West-Central regions of Brazil as well.
