Valerianella leiocarpa

Valerianella leiocarpa is a member of the Caprifoliaceae family, commonly known as the honeysuckle family. This species is distributed across Afghanistan, Iran, Iraq, Kazakhstan, Kuwait, Lebanon-Syria, Pakistan, Palestine, Saudi Arabia, Tadzhikistan, the Transcaucasus, Turkey, Turkmenistan, and Uzbekistan. The species was formally published in 1887 by Kuntze, based on the original work by K.Koch. It is part of the Valerianella genus, which includes various herbaceous plants typically found in temperate regions.
