Uvariodendron connivens is a tree in the Annonaceae family, reaching 3–20 m in height with a diameter at breast height of 2–25 cm. It lacks stilt roots or buttresses. The leaves have glabrous petioles and blades that are narrowly elliptic to oblong, with a subcoriaceous texture. The flowers are bisexual, with 9 perianth parts in 3 whorls, and the inflorescences are cauliflorous or ramiflorous. This species is found in Cameroon, Nigeria, and the Gulf of Guinea Islands. Habitat loss is a significant threat to its survival.
