Fendlerella utahensis, known as Utah fendlerbush, is a species in the Hydrangeaceae family. It was first described in 1898 by A.Heller, based on earlier work by S.Watson. This plant is native to the southwestern United States and northern Mexico, occurring in Arizona, California, Colorado, Nevada, New Mexico, Texas, and Utah, as well as the northeastern and northwestern regions of Mexico.

Description

Fendlerella utahensis is a member of the Hydrangeaceae family, a group of flowering plants that includes hydrangeas and related shrubs. The species is distributed across several arid and semi-arid regions of the southwestern U.S. and northern Mexico. Its range includes Arizona, California, Colorado, Nevada, New Mexico, Texas, and Utah in the U.S., as well as the northeastern and northwestern parts of Mexico. The plant is adapted to the climates and soils of these regions and is part of the local flora in these areas.
