Arachniodes standishii is a fern species in the Dryopteridaceae family, native to Japan and Korea. It is commonly known as upside down fern. The species was first described in 1962.

Arachniodes standishii belongs to the genus Arachniodes and is part of the Dryopteridaceae family, a group of ferns commonly known as the wood fern family. It is distributed across Japan and Korea. The species is known by the common name 'upside down fern' in English. The name was first published in 1962, based on earlier work by T.Moore and later revised by Ohwi.
