Calochortus umpquaensis, known as Umpqua mariposa lily, is a flowering plant in the Liliaceae family. It is endemic to Oregon, primarily found in the Klamath Mountains on the Little River in Douglas County, especially in the Watson and Ace Williams Mountains. Additional occurrences have been recorded in Josephine and Jackson Counties.

Description

Calochortus umpquaensis is a species of the Liliaceae family, native to Oregon. It is predominantly found in the Klamath Mountains on the Little River in Douglas County, particularly in the Watson and Ace Williams Mountains. The species has also been documented at one site each in Josephine and Jackson Counties. This plant is known by the common name Umpqua mariposa lily and was first described in 1989 by Fredricks.
