Umbeluzi Cycad

Encephalartos umbeluziensis is a cycad species belonging to the genus Encephalartos within the Zamiaceae family. It was formally published by R.A. Dyer in 1951. This plant is naturally distributed in parts of Africa, including Mozambique and Swaziland. It is locally referred to as the Umbeluzi Cycad in English. The species is part of a broader global distribution of cycads, though it is primarily associated with its native range in southern Africa.
