Ulmus prunifolia W. C. Cheng & L. K. Fu, known as the cherry-leafed elm, is a deciduous tree native to Hubei province in central eastern China. It grows at elevations between 1000 and 1500 meters.

Description

Ulmus prunifolia belongs to the Ulmaceae family and is part of the genus Ulmus. This species is endemic to Hubei, where it is found in specific high-altitude regions. It was formally described in 1979 and is distinguished by its cherry-like leaves.
