Description
Ulmus changii, described by W.C. Cheng in 1936, belongs to the Ulmaceae family. It is found in forest habitats across parts of China, particularly in South-Central and Southeast regions. The species is sometimes referred to as the Hangzhou elm. Its inclusion in the Hainan Province Protected Plants List reflects concerns over its rarity and conservation status.
