Tylecodon paniculatus

Tylecodon paniculatus is a member of the genus Tylecodon within the stonecress family, Crassulaceae. This species is adapted to arid environments and is found in the Cape Provinces and parts of Namibia. It is a succulent plant, characterized by its fleshy leaves and stems that help it retain water. The plant is known by various local names, such as butter bush, butter tree, butterboom, and rooisuikerblom. The species was formally described and published in 1978.
