Desmanthus bicornutus is a flowering plant in the Fabaceae family, native to northern and central Mexico and the southwestern United States. It is commonly found as an abundant roadside plant in its native range.

Description

Desmanthus bicornutus, known as two-horn bundleflower, is a species in the Fabaceae family. It is native to Arizona, Mexico, and parts of Central America. The plant is commonly found along roadsides and is referred to by several names, including ruby bundleflower and malvilla de laguna in Mexican Spanish. It was first described in 1886 by S. Watson.
