Tulipa urumiensis, also known as the late tulip or tardy tulip, is a perennial flowering plant in the Liliaceae family. It grows from a bulb and is native to Austria, Iran, Kazakhstan, and Kyrgyzstan. The plant features up to seven linear green leaves, each up to 20 cm long, and a stem measuring 4 to 20 cm in height. Its yellow flowers have white tips, with yellow anthers and stamens. The bulb is covered in a leathery, glabrous tunic.

Description

Tulipa urumiensis is a member of the Liliaceae family and is found in Austria, Iran, Kazakhstan, and Kyrgyzstan. This perennial plant grows from a bulb with a leathery tunic that is smooth on the interior. It produces up to seven linear green leaves, each reaching a maximum length of 20 cm. The stem ranges from 4 to 20 cm in height. The flowers are yellow with white-tipped petals, and the reproductive structures, including the anthers and stamens, are also yellow. Some sources refer to this species as Tulipa tarda. The species was first described in 1932 by Stapf.
