Tulipa linifolia, described by Regel in 1884, is a member of the tulip genus (Tulipa) within the Liliaceae family. It is a bulbous perennial plant found in the regions of Tajikistan, Uzbekistan, northern Iran, and Afghanistan. The plant reaches a height of approximately 20 cm and is characterized by its sword-shaped leaves with wavy edges and red margins. It produces bowl-shaped red flowers in early to mid-spring, with each petal marked by blackish spots at the base. This species is known by the common names flax-leaved tulip and Bokhara tulip.
