Tropaeolum deckerianum is a species in the Tropaeolaceae family, native to several regions in Colombia, Ecuador, and Venezuela. It was first described in 1848 by Moritz and H.Karst.

Description

Tropaeolum deckerianum belongs to the genus Tropaeolum and is part of the Tropaeolaceae family. It is found in various localities in Colombia, including Parque Nacional Natural Las Orquídeas and Parque Nacional Natural Munchique, as well as in the departments of California, Mongua, Boyacá, Caldas, Caquetá, Cauca, Cundinamarca, Huila, Norte de Santander, Putumayo, Quindío, Risaralda, Santander, Tolima, and Valle. Its range also extends to Ecuador and Venezuela. The species was formally published in 1848 by Moritz and H.Karst.
