Trollius yunnanensis
Trollius yunnanensis (Franch.) Ulbr.

Trollius yunnanensis, the Yunnan globeflower, is a perennial species native to southern China and northern Myanmar. It grows in grassy slopes and wet meadows at elevations between 1,900 m and 3,900 m. The plant has been awarded the Royal Horticultural Society's Award of Garden Merit.
Description
Trollius yunnanensis (Franch.) Ulbr. is a member of the family Ranunculaceae and is found in Gansu, Sichuan, and Yunnan provinces in China, as well as in northern Myanmar. It is a hardy perennial adapted to high-altitude environments, thriving in moist, open habitats. The species was first described in 1922 and is recognized for its ornamental value in horticulture.
