Description

Trollius altaicus, described by C.A.Mey. in 1831, belongs to the genus Trollius within the family Ranunculaceae. It is found in Altay, Inner Mongolia, Japan, Kazakhstan, Kirgizstan, Mongolia, Sakhalin, Tadzhikistan, and Uzbekistan, as well as Xinjiang. This species is commonly associated with moist habitats, especially in valley areas.
