Trichomanes spruceanum is a species in the genus Trichomanes, belonging to the family Hymenophyllaceae. It was first described by Hook. in 1854.

Description

Trichomanes spruceanum is a fern species native to several regions in South America, including BR, Amazonas, Caquetá, Vaupés, Brazil North, Brazil West-Central, Colombia, Guyana, and Venezuela. It is part of the Hymenophyllaceae family, commonly known as the filmy fern family. This species is distributed across tropical and subtropical areas, often found in moist, shaded environments typical of its habitat. The species was published in 1854 and has since been recognized as a part of the broader Trichomanes genus, which includes various species of small, delicate ferns.
