Trichoglottis lasioglossa is a species in the Orchidaceae family, native to the Bismarck Archipelago and New Guinea. It was formally described in 1997 by Ormerod, based on earlier work by Schltr.

Description

Trichoglottis lasioglossa belongs to the Orchidaceae, one of the largest families of flowering plants. This species is part of the genus Trichoglottis, which is characterized by its epiphytic or lithophytic growth habit. It is found in the Bismarck Archipelago and on the island of New Guinea. The species was first proposed by Schltr. and later published in its current form by Ormerod in 1997.
