Trichoglottis chrysochila

This species is part of the genus Trichoglottis, which includes a variety of epiphytic orchids. The plant is indigenous to the Philippines, where it grows in its natural habitat. The species was formally described in 2012 by Ormerod and Cootes, who recognized and named it based on earlier taxonomic work by Kraenzl.
