Tribulus macrocarpus is a flowering plant species in the Zygophyllaceae family, native to central northern Western Australia, southern inland Northern Territory, and northern South Australia.

Description

Tribulus macrocarpus, described in 1863 by F.Muell. ex Benth., is part of the Zygophyllaceae family and is distributed across New South Wales, Northern Territory, Queensland, South Australia, and Western Australia. It is a member of the genus Tribulus and is found in arid and semi-arid regions of central and northern Australia.
