Tmesipteris lanceolata is a species in the genus Tmesipteris, belonging to the family Psilotaceae. It was first described in 1891 by P.A. Dang.

Description

Tmesipteris lanceolata is distributed across several regions, including the Chatham Islands, Kermadec Islands, New Caledonia, the North and South Islands of New Zealand, the Philippines, Queensland, and Sulawesi. As a member of the Psilotaceae family, it is part of a group of primitive vascular plants known for their reduced or absent leaves and unique morphological adaptations.
