Tithonia tubaeformis is a species in the genus Tithonia, belonging to the family Asteraceae. It was first described in 1825 by (Jacq.) Cass. The species is native to several regions, including the Bahamas, Belize, Bolivia, Costa Rica, the Dominican Republic, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, and various parts of Mexico, as well as Swaziland, Zambia, and Montería.

Description

Tithonia tubaeformis is a member of the Asteraceae family, a large and diverse group of flowering plants commonly known as the daisy or sunflower family. This species is distributed across a range of Central and South American countries, including the Bahamas, Belize, Bolivia, Costa Rica, the Dominican Republic, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, and multiple regions of Mexico. It is also found in Swaziland, Zambia, and Montería. The species was first published in 1825 under the authorship of (Jacq.) Cass.
