Calochortus tiburonensis, known as the Tiburon mariposa lily, is a species in the Liliaceae family. It is found only in Marin County, California, where it is restricted to a single population on Ring Mountain, growing on a serpentine outcrop in grasslands at elevations between 50 and 150 metres.

Description

Calochortus tiburonensis is a member of the Liliaceae family and is part of the genus Calochortus. It is endemic to Marin County, California, and is known from only one population located on Ring Mountain, east of Mill Valley. This population is restricted to a single serpentine outcrop within grassland habitats at elevations ranging from 50 to 150 metres. The species was first described in 1973 by A.J. Hill.
